Actually, I've been in 'Crochet World' since 2011 but now I have the time to write my own pattern and publish it.
I made 2 headbands for my beautiful cousins who really happy got the headbands. I made it from left over yarn and crystal button.
Let's check it out :
WHAT YOU NEED :
- Hook 3 mm
- Yarn or thread. I used Indonesia Cotton Thread.
- Scissor
- Needle yarn
- Glue
- Crystal button or whatever you have.
WHAT WILL YOU DO :
Big Flower (Make 1)
R1 - Make 5 chains, join in the beginning chain. Ch 1 and make 10 sc in the ring.
R2 - Ch 1, sc in the same stitch. *make 3 ch, skip 1 stitch, sc in the next stitch. Repeat (*) 4x. Slip stitch.
R3 - Slip stitch in the 3 ch-space, *make 2 ch, 3 dc in the loop, 2 ch, slst in the same loop. Repeat (*) 4x but do not slst in the end of row.
R4 - Ch 1, make 1 sc in between petals (sc on R2), ch 4, sc between petals. Repeat it then slst.
R5 - Slst in the 4 ch-space. *make 2 ch, 4 dc in ithe loop, 2 ch, slst in the same loop. Repeat (*) 4x. Do not slst in the end of row.
R6 - Ch 1, sc between petals, ch 5, sc between petals, repeat along.
R7 - Slst in the 5 ch-space. *Make 3 ch, 5 tr in the loop, 3 ch, slst in the same loop. Repeat (*) 4x. Do not slip stitch but cut the yarn to sew.
Small Flower (Make 2)
Technically, the way to make small flower is the same like the big one. You just have to follow from R1 to R5 the cut the yarn to sew.
R1 - Make 5 chains, join in the beginning chain. Ch 1 and make 10 sc in the ring.
R2 - Ch 1, sc in the same stitch. *make 3 ch, skip 1 stitch, sc in the next stitch. Repeat (*) 4x. Slip stitch.
R3 - Slip stitch in the 3 ch-space, *make 2 ch, 3 dc in the loop, 2 ch, slst in the same loop. Repeat (*) 4x but do not slst in the end of row.
R4 - Ch 1, make 1 sc in between petals (sc on R2), ch 4, sc between petals. Repeat it then slst.
R5 - Slst in the 4 ch-space. *make 2 ch, 4 dc in ithe loop, 2 ch, slst in the same loop. Repeat (*) 4x. Do not slst in the end of row but cut the yarn to sew.
You can glue buttons or whatever to make it pretty like mine :-P
Headband
We're going to move to make the thread or the headband. It's easy, you only have to repeat simple instructions.
---> Make 2 chains, sc in the beginning of the chain. Now you have 1 sc, right?
---> Turn around, make 1 ch, then sc in stitch before. You have to repeat from this section untill you reach the length of your desire.
You know, I was so lazy to count how many rows to make headband, so I just crocheted as long as 65 cm (use your ruler).
After you finish it, fold it in 2 pieces and put the small flower on top of it and sew it.
